The St. Helena Parish Tourist Commission is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of St. Helena Parish, and
so that its citizens shall prosper. Its mission is to offer a foundation of benefits that can help the parish government grow
and prosper and thereby promote the economic well-being of St. Helena Parish.
The St. Helena Parish Tourist Commission was established pursuant to Louisiana Revised Statute 33.4574 and any related provision of Louisiana law.
Specifically included but not limited to, the Commission has the authority to accept grants or donations of every type, to make capital improvements
for the purpose of obtaining federal funds, to do all things necessary for the promotion, the advertisement, and the publication of information relating
to tourist attractions within St. Helena Parish.
Meetings will be held every other month on the 1st Wednesday. If that date is a holiday, then the new meeting date will be decided by a majority vote.
However the meeting must be held sometime during that month. Regular meeting months are January, March, May, July, September, and November. Meeting are
held at the Welcome Center at 5 pm.
